TAMAKI PATH - OMARU BRIDGE

Oxcon was engaged by HEB to undertake the Omaru Bridge component of the Tamaki Path Project for Auckland Council. Oxcon proposed an alternative construction methodology which involved prefabricating the bridge sections and installing them with a 400T mobile crane. This methodology provided certainty with regard to the quality of the finish, minimised work at height, and reduced the need for equipment to be located within the CMA environment during bridge construction works.
