The works included the installation of 242 steel sheet piles (9–12 m long) to form the new wall, construction of 165 m of in-situ concrete capping beam, earthworks to regrade and restore the berm between the road and the wall, and the replacement and extension of drainage lines through the new wall to improve stormwater management.
The project was delivered in a sensitive marine environment, requiring careful sequencing to maintain safe public access and minimise disruption to marina users.
