The Purewa Road Upgrade extended the Te Ara Ki Uta Ki Tai shared path, linking Sections 2 and 3 along Meadowbank’s urban corridor. The project involved new pedestrian and shared user paths, a full asphalt road resurfacing, and a dedicated shared-use space to connect pathways and provide maintenance access for Watercare and KiwiRail.

With ongoing construction in the area, we carefully managed site logistics, stakeholder coordination, and timing constraints to minimise disruption and maintain programme momentum. High-quality finishes were prioritised to complement the adjacent apartment development, ensuring the upgrade seamlessly integrated with the evolving streetscape.

Delivered ahead of schedule, the project successfully reopened Purewa Road to the public, restoring access after an extended period of construction-related closures.
