The Half Moon Bay North Pier Extension involved constructing a 200m-long, 12m-wide elevated concrete structure above the seabed, forming a dockside parking area for marina users while maintaining operational boatyard access.

We installed 42 steel tube piles (610mm diameter, up to 38m long), precast pier heads, and double-tee beams, integrating an innovative piling frame to ensure accuracy and minimise seabed disruption.

Operating entirely within the Coastal Marine Area, the project required strict environmental controls and noise mitigation strategies for nearby residential areas. Prefabrication and detailed crane lift planning enabled the seamless assembly of structural components, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
