Oxcon contributed to the construction of Auckland’s iconic ‘Pink Path’ cycleway bridge over Spaghetti Junction, a complex motorway interchange. The project involved widening the Canada Street footpath, constructing an elevated steel bridge, upgrading the old Nelson Street off-ramp, and enhancing key intersections at Nelson/Union and Hobson/Union Streets.

Operating directly above SH1, the project required high-risk temporary traffic management and coordination with NZTA to ensure safety and efficiency. We were responsible for piling, earthworks, in-situ concrete, and grouting, working within an urban environment with challenging access constraints. The project achieved a PACE score of 94, reflecting its success in execution, stakeholder coordination, and safety performance.
